Pluto in the First House or Aries: You are at the start of a new evolutionary cycle, and have a strong sense of personal destiny. You have a compelling need for independence, and freedom to discover yourself through experience. The challenge is balancing this need for autonomy with forming relationships, as indicated by the Libra/7th House polarity point. You must learn to listen and give in relationships, rather than dominate, to achieve personal growth and fulfill your evolutionary purpose.
About Pluto, the Nodes, and Soul Evolution
Pluto represents the main evolutionary intention for this lifetime. This intention includes integrating the polarity point (the opposite sign and house on the chart).
The nodes of the Moon are also a huge part of the evolutionary story. The South Node represents our past-life experiences, identity structure, and attachments. It represents our comfort zone, what is familiar to us, including strengths and weaknesses. Depending on aspects to Pluto and the nodal rulers, it can also represent karma. Pluto’s role in our life is in many ways to push or force us to give up our attachments to past ways of being so we can embrace new ways of being.
