I have dabbled with astrology most of my life, but became a serious student in early 2024. I like to study a variety of approaches—I am currently studying evolutionary astrology with Ari Moshe, archetypal astrology with Karen Hawkwood, and have learned from the writings of Jeffrey Wolf Green, Steven Forrest, and Liz Greene among others.
I originally became interested in astrology due to struggling in relationships and wondering about karma and how to heal it. I found JWG's Pluto books to be invaluable in understanding what modern psychology would call "attachment issues". (I like psychology too...I like learning in general).
I find astrology to be incredibly useful, and wild in its implications as to how interconnected everything really is. It goes completely against a modern materialist view of the nature of reality, which I find fascinating.
Astrology is a mythical language, and it can be used to say many different things. My bias is toward astrological perspectives that are empowering and offer practical psychological insight, within a spiritual framework that is open enough to accommodate a plurality of belief systems. I don't teach or share from one particular tradition, but rather I want to share whatever I have found value in.
